These are from 5 and 6 weeks old. Kaitlyn loved Peek-a-Boo during this time. She also has been paying a lot more attention to her toys. She loves her teddy bear and her set of toys that hang on her bouncy seat. She is also a very funny sleeper and likes to have her head at a crazy angle. Here are tons of pictures. Enjoy!

Test Post
This is a test post to see if my photos will load without being re-sized. My problem is that I have filled my quota of free data storage through Picasa (where blogger stores the blog photos, I didn't know I had an account till now). This is my way of working around that, by using my old email and adding to the blog through it now.

One Month old on Easter!
Happy Easter everyone! Kaitlyn turned one month old yesterday and it is crazy how fast time has gone already. Last Tuesday, Kaitlyn had her first real smile I think. Usually she smiles as she's falling asleep or waking up, there's something about that mostly asleep phase that she really likes. This time she was wide awake and smiled at me right after I smiled at her. It was so amazing!
Kaitlyn had a rough few days during General Conference because she was very gassy, but she woke up Tuesday happy as can be and that big smile was when I knew she felt better. She has been her wonderful happy self ever since. I am blaming the fact that I fed her while hiking and walking at the San Diego Zoo last week and she swallowed too much air while I was bouncing her around.
Another first from this week was that Kaitlyn rolled over! This was not on purpose and I doubt she will replicate it again for a long time. She had her hand folded next to her face and she was flailing her legs and happened to flail just the right way to flip her over to her back.
We love our naked little baby!
Kaitlyn doesn't like tummy time very much, so this is a rare picture of her lifting her head without crying. She usually starts out pretty happy and gets progressively more upset until she's screaming to end tummy time.
She got an Easter duck, but doesn't care about toys yet. Also, Kaitlyn is a great sleeper most of the time. She slept for a 5 hour stretch on Thursday night which was amazing! Usually she needs to eat every 2 to 3 hours or every hour sometimes, so it was really awesome to get a little longer to sleep for me.
I love this outfit of hers!
Kaitlyn is ready for Easter Sunday!
She already likes the computer.

3 Weeks Old! (plus 2 days)
Kaitlyn is now 3 weeks old! It's amazing how fast time is going. She is getting chubbier and her little forearms are beginning to have a sausage look to them. Here are a bunch of pictures from this week.
Jeremy had Spring Break this week, so we took Kaitlyn on her first hike (3 miles, I was very proud of myself) and she did great in her front pack. Sadly, we didn't take the camera with us. Another first for her was going to church. She also got her first real bath this week. I thought she would hate it like the sponge baths, but she really liked sitting in the warm water. Maybe she was too cold with the sponge baths.
Jeremy studied most of the week, but we took all of Friday and went to the San Diego Zoo. We had a great time and Kaitlyn slept almost the whole time in the front pack. The polar bears were my favorite and they came right up next to the glass to say hi to us.
Here I am with Kaitlyn and the Pandas. She didn't really care.
This Koala was asleep while hugging her baby... maybe her baby kept her up too much at night...
Here we are taking the lift back to the front of the zoo at the end of the day.
Now for pictures of Kaitlyn. I always find her sleeping in the funniest positions. She loves having her hands out and sometimes sticks them straight up into the air for at least 5 minutes while she's asleep.
Kaitlyn loves sprawling out to sleep.
This was Kaitlyn's first time going to church. She wasn't happy right then, but then fell asleep when we put her in the car seat. She slept through all of church except when I fed her. What a great baby!
More funny sleeping positions.
Kaitlyn has a lot of worried and concerned looks. She's not so sure about something...
She's looking much bigger in her car seat now.
Here are a bunch of her funny faces.
Jeremy won't let me get any good pictures of the two of them. This is why Kaitlyn looks so frustrated at him.
Sleeping during tummy time.
Haha, I caught her sucking her thumb for the first time that I've seen.
