Thanksgiving in Ellensburg

Kaitlyn loved the Christmas tree.  She loved balancing with it even more.

On our way to ride the horse, we found the nicest cat.  It went right up to Kaitlyn and rubbed against her a few times.

Kaitlyn's first horse ride!  She was a little nervous at first but she really had fun on the second lap.  She went back to being nervous at the end though.  All in all, I think she liked it.

Kaitlyn's first tractor ride.

We had some family pictures taken.  I hope I'm allowed to post these ;)  They turned out great!

 Bath time with the cousins!

Once Kaitlyn figured out the walker, she was pretty excited.  She would let us know when she was stuck in a corner though.

This is what Kaitlyn did the majority of the time at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  I hope your back has recovered Ron!  She was very determined to learn how to walk.

Our Thanksgiving feast was delicious!  Thanks everyone who made the yummy food!

Hailey wasn't so sure about Kaitlyn grabbing her shoulder...

Mykelle got pretty good at driving the gator.

Here is an assortment of pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses.  Here is a wave from Kaitlyn.  Hailey is on the left and Mykelle is on the right.

We tried so hard to get a good one of Hailey and Mykelle holding Kaitlyn's hands.

November pictures

Here are a bunch of pictures from November.  We found this bamboo on campus on a Sunday walk.  She loved it.

Kaitlyn and I went with Kelly and Eva Jaramillo to Half Moon Bay and saw lots of dogs being walked and sea lions barking at them from the water.

This is a weekend day trip to Castle Rock State Park.

Here is another beach trip with Amalie and Hakachi (my neighbor) and we met up with some girls from my ward.  These were taken right before Kaitlyn got stung by a bee on her neck.  She was a champ and only cried for a few minutes then was subdued for a while.  Someone had some ice that we put on it.  By the time the third picture was taken, Kaitlyn was all back to normal.  She loved the sand and played so great while I watched her.  Then after about 10 minutes of making sure she didn't eat it, I let my guard down and she knew it.  She ate a fistful of sand and loved it!

Tailgating for the Stanford game!  Such a fun group of people, I'm sure everyone around us was thinking, "where did all these babies come from and what are they doing here?"  Jen and Kylan Lundeen put it all together.  Jen Hawk Lundeen went to my same High School with my brother Dan.  Small world.

Kaitlyn fell asleep twice at the game in my front pack.  It was so loud we think she had so much fun and then couldn't handle any more so she went to sleep.  Twice.

In her Stanford gear after the game.

Kaitlyn learned how to wave but its hard to get pictures of it.  We think she learned from all the old ladies at church waving to her without other people seeing.  She puts her hand up and opens and closes her fingers very deliberately and slowly.

This is my favorite smile right now with her nose all crinkled up.
